A film for me is like a long-term adventure in which the scenario is the lead. I am obliged to pack, cast off and devote myself to the search for documents, resources, to the actors, to the technical issues, and the translation. I watch straight ahead, the protagonists and the developing images inside my head to hold on until the end.
After 20 films, I carry all these experiences and all these emotions with the happiness of having an audience and a cinematographic reasoning to convey. Important things have been said and shown, battles have been won but there is still a lot to do for those who are silenced, at the very least to create for and with them.
